The NOX Cycles brand was launched in Berlin in 2004 out of the passion and ambition to produce absolutely competitive gravity bikes equipped with only the best components and tech. Since then, NOX Cycles has established itself primarily in the enduro and downhill sector and has made a very good name as a small but high quality ebike manufacturer.

Since the 2015 season, we have focused entirely on the further development and production of high-quality e-mountain bikes, because we see the future in the symbiosis of muscle power and e-drive, especially for mountain bikes. The common goal was to equip the e-mountain bike series "NOX HYBRID" and "NOX HELIUM" without compromise and to optimize them for ascents and especially descents in demanding terrain. That this has succeeded is proven by the positive feedback from our customers, and confirmed by numerous tests and racing.

Designed in Germany - Built in Austria. The best of two worlds

Since October 2017, NOX Cycles Austria GmbH has been producing NOX bikes in Austria, in the beautiful Zillertal.The motivation for this production facility was high production capacity utilization in Berlin and the fact that we can now put our e-mountain bikes through their paces much better in the Zillertal Alps.Our development and construction benefits from the proximity to our system suppliers Brose, Fazua and ZF Micromobility. With these close contacts we are always up-to-date and can bring the latest developments to our e-bikes.

Many roads lead to a NOX bike

With a new distribution in the USA by Nirvana X Group, Nox Cycles has been selling ebikes since 2021 in the US. In addition to its own Aspen, Colorado shop, Aspen MTB, Nox Cycles are now available almost exclusively through selected specialty bike shops.

And we didn’t just want to share the bike with our clients in Aspen, but with the whole country. Our favorite trails in Bentonville need this e-mountain bike!
